SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY 

 

We deliver to most of the regions across New Zealand.

We use couriers such as NZ POST, NEW ZEALAND COURIERS for small sized items for Nation-wide deliveries. For larger sized items (length more than 1.5m and where total volume is more than 0.125cbm and the weight is more than 25kg), our Jory Henley Logistics team will deliver in Auckland Metro and Mainfreight for deliveries outside Auckland metro.

 

All parcels will be delivered to the provided address. It is recommended to provide a work address for delivery if no one is at home during business hours. In an instance when no one is at home to accept the parcel, courier services will contact you to arrange another time for delivery during normal business hours. For deliveries by our own Jory Henley Logistics team, we will contact you within 1-3 working days by email to book a delivery date after receiving the orders.

 

Any damages in transit should be reported to the carrier and store within 24 hours after receiving the items. Please inspect the package condition of all items and take pictures before signing. If your delivery is received damaged, note damage on Carrier’s proof of delivery docket at time of acceptance then file a claim with Jory Henley Furniture within 7 days from the date of delivery. Please keep the original package as part of the proof as well. To process and resolve any claims, please send email to customerservice@joryhenley.co.nz and put your order number as email subject. We require the files below for the claim.

  1. Photos or short video of the damage on the package.
  2. Photos or short video of the damage to the product.

 

Our logistics team offer different services, like express/same day delivery/specific time deliveries, carrying items upstairs or downstairs or into lifts, assembly of items or dismantling of existing furniture, shifting of existing furniture, cardboard/rubbish disposal upon your requests at an extra cost.

 

Extra fees will be charged for express/same-day deliveries, carrying goods upstairs or into the lifts, assembly, cardboard/rubbish disposal and disassembly of old furniture upon requests.

 

We keep you updated

You will receive an email confirming your order details, including shipping and delivery estimates for each item after your purchase. As soon as your item is prepared for shipping and leaves the warehouse, you will receive an email with carrier and tracking information. Your tracking number, the time and date your order was placed, its status, the shipping method used, the anticipated shipping and arrival dates, and details on any packages that have already left the warehouse will all be displayed.

HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?

The time it takes for a product to leave the warehouse is known as the dispatch time. It differs for every product. Your address will be used to notify you when your order ships out of the warehouse. To estimate the time following dispatch for delivery, please see the table above. Arrival time depends on your delivery address, delivery times may vary. The delivery time estimate in the above table is provided simply as a guide.

According to the actual situation of the product, delivery is allowed within 8-10 weeks after the order is shipped.

 

WHAT IF I AM NOT HOME WHEN MY PACKAGE ARRIVES?

Our shipping partner will leave a notification at your house outlining an alternate delivery arrangement if you did not choose the option to leave the item in a secure area near your home. The courier should deliver the package close to your house if you authorize us to leave the item there.

For the orders delivered by our own logistics team, if customers fail to accept the goods when delivery arrives, re-delivery fees may be charged depending on the distance. Alternatively, customers can choose to pick up from our stores without extra payment.

 

TRACKING  INFORMATION

After placing your order, you will get a confirmation email with your tracking number within 1-3 working days. Please be aware that since information is updated in real-time, it takes a few hours for tracking information to refresh. Please get in touch with the courier directly if you have a problem with your delivery details or tracking number as we have very little control once your package has left our facility. For the orders delivered by our own logistics team, our driver will call you before they arrive.
